Is Critical Race Theory, Important?

There’s only 1 class, course, teacher, or instructor Black children and adults need to start watching to begin their journey in order to learn the real history of Black people in America. Dr. Claud Anderson has dedicated his life to Black people, he is the starting point. He has not been a coward or a traitor to his race, instead, he has been focused and steadfast on the goal of reparations and educating the Black race on the WHAT & WHY’s of our current situation and standing in America. I think this is the reason he is not as revered as he should be! President Obama should have given this man the Presidential Medal of Freedom, for the work he has done for the Black race!

As too the question I pose “Is critical race theory important?” I think the name alone makes it controversial, the name should just be “BLACK HISTORY” period! We need to remove the other descriptions and make it straight fact based, tell the truth, period. The problem is so many people do not know the truth they have not done the research and the work it takes to amass the type of facts valid to explain how we got here and what needs to be done to help the real problems in our communities.

Black people will realize the Black race has in a lot of cases been the cause of a lot of our turmoil and led to a lot of our own demise. There is more than 1 reason the title of this video is “Inappropriate Behavior” because as you watch and listen to this history these facts you see how the system was built and supported. We need to have the truths made known about what the Catholic Church, Arabs, Spaniards, Portuguese, and many others did to create this permanent caste system of inequality to negatively impact the Black race. More importantly we need to know how our own actions as Black people negatively impacted our own race, for 1 or 2 peoples own personal gains while continuing a system that guaranteed and ensured Blacks would not become an actual equal race in America.

At 44 years of age, I have finally started connecting the dots. I was raised in a home where we knew about Black history I read books about slavery. I walked with Jessie Jackson when they came to town during his Presidential campaign, The Rainbow Coalition was a beautiful thing to our family because Jessie Jackson was Black. I have read the autobiographies of Malcolm X, Ralph Abernathy, and Frederick Douglass. I downloaded “The Miseducation of the Negro” I understood what G. Carter Woodson was talking about in his writings, but none of this actually put it all together like Dr. Claud Anderson has.

Dr. Anderson’s books are monumental and literally works of art for Black people. Honestly, for any American that wants to know real American history in general, they should read his books. I was just taken aback last year as I helped my son with his Texas history paper in learning that slavery was basically the root issue as to why Texas fought Mexico, for the territory. Slavery not the actual land etc… but the fact the Mexican government had ended slavery and basically went to its highest levels to quell slavery in the Texas region, led the white settlers to war over the land. Mind-blowing! Not to mention the lands that were granted to the settlers as they came to Texas, the amounts of the acreage are staggering. All facts that should be fought for way more important than celebrating a symbolic although not even accurate Juneteenth quasi victory for becoming a National holiday. The real battle those people should have been fighting is for the land your people weren’t allowed access to as slaves, although the land was given free to whites who came to Texas and were baptized etc… whatever the flavor for qualifications was for the period.

Yes! Black history is important, but we do not have to worry about learning it from schools and shouldn’t be depending on the school system to teach our children about the REAL history of America. We have Youtube where people exist like Dr. Claud Anderson. The continuation of our begging is just more examples of the “Inappropriate Behavior” Dr. Anderson is talking about, it is miseducation and a common form of brainwashing we have become accustomed to, as a permanent subclass in America. The answers are all right here! These videos go back to the 1990’s so the information has been readily available for decades at this point, yet we have not actually sought them out. Even worse the Black leaders have not even made them known, because they continue exhibiting the “Inappropriate Behavior” and just whitewash everything, to make sure they get ahead and cast the rest of the race aside.

So final answer.

NO! Critical Race Theory is not important, matter of fact it should not even exist.

Yes. Fact-based American History is important.

“FACT BASED” being keywords. Fact-based history can’t exclude the Black experience and all its horrors but more importantly, it shows how the system was created! It will show the actors Black, European, Catholic, Spanish, etc… all-inclusive in the building of the current situation, taking a focus off the symptoms we call root issues, and focus on the actual problems that birthed and feed the disease.

Do not wait on the school systems to start teaching it though, start teaching it in your own home. Instead of “Baby Shark” videos on YouTube search for Dr. Claud Anderson and let your child be educated about their history. The fact that we have allowed our history to be written by others which has excluded facts and told from a viewpoint so skewed we had no way of figuring out the formulas to our demise is irresponsible, especially considering the facts are out there, all we have to do is search for it. That search is now just as easy as finding a recipe for cake. Dr. Anderson and plenty others have already done the work. They have now even posted the lectures on the web for FREE! We have no excuse.

PEACE!
